Looks so good. Feels really sturdy. But took me two hours to put together solo〞one whole hour of that was dealing with Steps 10 & 11 of assembly. Steps 10 and 11 SUCKED! The pre-drilled holes, necessary to know where to screw, was completely invisible behind the fabric. Also, the cushion was a really awkward piece to hold in place & screw＃ I had to hold the cushion against a wall by pressing into it with my HEAD to keep it still while drilling into hard wood while keeping the pieces connected. An hour full of cursing, that＊s for sure.Not sure why people are insisting an electric drill is necessary. That would be too bulky for my experience〞a hand phillips screwdriver, the provided hex key, and a hammer are sufficient.

Very sturdy. Perfect size. Thin enough for smaller bedroom. Can put shoes or books on bottom shelves. Comfortable to sit on.

If you are looking for a small bench this would fit well. I basically get what you pay for. It took a while to build because many of the holes were not predrilled. It＊s important to put things in the right direction when building it so pay attention to the pictures. Once built it seems study and does what it is meant to do. It＊s an average purchase because it＊s okay but nothing great.

It＊s awesome. Looks expensive. It＊s NOT HARD to put together like I see in some reviews. I had zero problems. You DO NEED A DRILL! The instructions tell you that! Other than that 5 stars for sure.

Cute bench, good quality, getting the lid hinges on is a nightmare though. Great once done, will see if the lid holds up. They could definitely improve on the lid hinges and attachment of said hinges.

Smaller than I thought

Attractive and relatively easy to assemble, although probably a two person job. There are YouTube videos to help with assembly if you are all thumbs. Surprisingly sturdy. Perfect solution for an mud room or entry area.

The item is really nice. It was not difficult to put together. The instructions were easy to read and the diagrams were really helpful. It took about and hour to complete.I like that the cushion is pleather and can be easily cleaned. The storage is not large but, is enough for gloves, hats, and assorted outerwear. The large storage area is perfect for boots.The item is basically pressboard and is sturdy enough. It would not take much abuse or heavyweight. The item itself is nice but the price was more than the quality.

Get ready for assembly. Lol

Beautiful addition to my entry

After seeing the reviews mentioning missing pre-drilled holes and the instructions referencing a drill, I was fully prepared to be pissed and want to return this item. However＃.. once I got to assembling, I realized it＊s just about the same as every other cheap-ish pressboard product I＊ve purchased. It would be easy to assemble with some of the pre-drilled holes on the wrong side, giving the impression they＊re missing. The drill requirement in the instructions doesn＊t necessarily mean a drill-I used a driver with a phillips bit, or one could use a screwdriver. I sat on the floor in the entryway to put it together, and I think it took half an hour?The thing is fairly sturdy, though not enough I＊d trust it to sit on. The hardware also stripped easily. I tried to cheat the Allen wrench & use a square bit with the driver and it was a failed effort.Overall, for price, ease of assembly and quick delivery, it was a decent purchase. The small size doesn＊t overpower the entry space, and holds enough pairs of shoes that it will help save the ill-advised light color carpet in my apartment.

This bench sits in our back entry and is perfect for holding a few pairs of shoes, hats, and mittens. When we got it out of the box it seemed very flimsy but assembled it is both sturdy and attractive.

LOVE IT! Very happy with the ease of putting it together and the quality. Works great for what we need. We have had it for quiet some time now and it is holding up fine.
